However, Godlike Esports's co-owner Amar Chandgude has now confirmed that Jonathan is not going anywhere and will play the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals from Godlike Esports.

The co-owner of Godlike Esports, Amar Chandgude, has confirmed that Jonathan will play the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals with Godlike Esports in Chennai. He also reveals the reason why the 23-year-old has been benched during the Survival Stage, saying it was a strategic decision by the management to not take any risk and first qualify for the finals.

Zgod, the longtime teammate of Jonathan and the content creator of Godlike Esports, also confirmed that Jonathan would be playing 4 of Godlike in the finals of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2026.

Jonatha is regarded as one of the greatest esports players from India. The 23-year-old joined Godlike Esports in August 2021. He has been one of the biggest faces of the organization. Notably, he won the FMVP title in the last edition of the BGIS. However, he has been inconsistent this year.

The BGIS 2026 Grand Finals will be played from the 27th to the 29th of March at the Chennai Trade Center in Chennai. Godlike Esports finished runner-up in the last edition and now will aim to get that trophy.

Godlike Esports topped the Survival Stage overall standing with the roster of Manya, Admino, Spower, and Godz. However, now Amar and Zgod have confirmed the lineup of Manya, Admino, Spower, and Jonathan for the Grand Finals of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2026 in Chennai.
