Axel Disasi, 27-year-old French national footballer plays as a centre-back for Chelsea. The French international joined the Premier League club from AS Monaco in August 2023 and has made around 44 appearances over the previous two seasons at the club. Disasi is reportedly set to end his journey at Chelsea and join another Premier League club this season.

FC Bournemouth are reportedly in advanced talks to sign the French international from the Blues and have already  made official club-to-club contact to join the Cherries as a like-for-like replacement for Illia Zabarnyi who recently completed his move to PSG, as per Fabrizio Romano. The Cherries are well underway with the negotiations for the 27-year-old and are confident that they can seal the deal with Chelsea in the upcoming days before the end of the summer transfer window.

Bournemouth keen on boosting the defensive line following the departures of Dean Huijsen and Illian Zabarnyi: Reports

The Cherries are in desperate need of defensive depth in their squad after they have sold two of their best defenders last season, Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid and Illian Zabarnyi to PSG. Disasi is a player who has had mixed opinions for his performances at Chelsea. However, that does not change the fact that he was a tremendous talent during his time at Monaco. The change in atmosphere might actually work in the favour of the 27-year-old French international.

Bournemouth have started the Premier League on a positive note after a strong performance against Liverpool which ended in a narrow loss and a 1-0 victory in the following match against Wolverhampton Wanderers. The addition of Disasi to the squad will prove beneficial for them as he is a versatile player who can also play as a right-back when needed.
