Alejandro Garnacho, the 21-year-old Argentine winger, has been a crucial player for Manchester United over the last couple of years. Garnacho has made more than 100 appearances for Manchester United, managing to score 26 goals in the first team. However, following a breakdown in relations with current club manager Ruben Amorim, Garnacho has made it clear to Manchester United that he wants to leave the club this summer.
It is important to note that Alejandro Garnacho has been clear with his stance about not wanting to join any other club other than the FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Conference League winners Chelsea. The Argentine winger is determined to be part of the Chelsea project and play under Enzo Maresca this season. Recent reports suggest that Chelsea are finally advancing talks with Manchester United over the signing of Garnacho. The talks are underway with the expectation of it moving in the final stages very soon since the CEO of Manchester United, Omar Berrada, has an excellent relationship with the Chelsea hierarchy, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Alejandro Garnacho states he will either join Chelsea or continue be part of Man Utd without any game time: Reports
Alejandro Garnacho has already agreed on personal terms with the blues and it's only a matter of time till the deal progresses to the final stages. The Argentine international has reportedly rejected an approach from the Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich as he only wants Chelsea and nothing else. The 21-year old has reportedly informed the hierarchy of the Red Devils that he will only join Chelsea this summer. At the same time, if the deal does not progress, then he will not go anywhere else apart from not playing any football for Manchester United until the January transfer window.
Chelsea are also looking to complete the signing of the winger Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig as priority. However, both of these deals are considered to be separate as Chelsea are willing to make both the signings. United have already moved on from Alejandron Garnacho and do not consider him to be a part of the squad. The 21-year-old will be hopeful that Chelsea get over the line to complete his signing.
