Paul Pogba, a 32-year-old French international footballer is all set to return to Champions League. Reckoned as a maestro of midfield for the French national team a few years back before he was allegedly tested positive for a doping scandal, Paul Pogba is all set to mark his return after AS Monaco completed his signing in this summer transfer window.

With the Monaco side set to feature in the Champions League, manager Adi Hutter named the squad, which includes the 32-year-old midfielder. Pogba has been selected in the squad despite not making his debut for AS Monaco yet. The manager has high hopes from the French international and reports suggest that Pogba is training to be match-ready.

Pogba unlikely to make an appearance for Monaco in their Champions League opener

The last time Paul Pogba played a competitive game was two years ago when he was a part of Juventus. It seems very unlikely that he will be making an appearance in Monaco’s Champions League opener against Club Brugge on September 18th. The French midfielder could be seen clashing against Premier League giants like Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspurs

Pogba is keen on playing football at the top level and it was very evident during the time he signed for Monaco where he could not hold back his tears after all the difficulties he had gone through. He is set to give his best for the team and shine on the biggest stage again. The 2018 World Cup winner, with the experience and talent that he possesses, could guide the young team to success this year.
