In a big development from the footballing world, Tottenham Hotspur owners rejected buyout interest for the club, as per the statement from its board members, in which it was also stated that they are “not for sale”. The announcement from the Tottenham Hotspur board members came regarding the matter following the decision from their Executive Chairman Daniel Levy leaving his post last week after working with them for more than two decades.
Tottenham Hotspur revealed that one of the approaches for buyout interest came from Newcastle United shareholder Amanda Staveley’s PCP International Finance Limited, while the other one was from the Dr Roger Kennedy and Wing-Fai Ng’s consortium through Firehawk Holdings Limited, as per the report from BBC Sport. PCP International Finance Limited made a statement on the matter, stating that they had not intended to make an offer to buy the London-based club.
