Preview: The top two teams of the Indian T20 League will clash in the Qualifier 1 on Sunday evening. Delhi qualified for the playoffs by topping the points table while Chennai finished at second position. Delhi and Chennai would aim to book their spot in the final by winning the Qualifier 1. It will be a blockbuster contest between Rishabh Pant's young brigade and Mahendra Singh Dhoni's so called Dad’s Army.

The two teams met just few days back and at that time, it was the Rishabh Pant-led side which emerged victorious in a hard-fought contest by 3 wickets. Chennai had scored 136/5, thanks to superb batting from Ambati Rayudu (55 off 43 balls). But good knocks from Shikhar Dhawan (39) and Shimron Hetmyer (28) helped Delhi win the game with 2 balls to spare.

Delhi: According to reports, Aussie all-rounder Marcus Stoinis is likely to be available for this match, having recovered from his hamstring injury.

Chennai: Suresh Raina missed the last few league matches due to a "bad left knee". However, Raina has started practising in nets and looked well on course to feature in the playoffs.

Shikhar Dhawan: The southpaw has looked in good touch in the second-half but he has not been able to play a long innings. Dhawan has scored 544 runs at an average of 41.85 and at a strike rate of 128 this season. The swashbuckling Indian opener has played numerable match-winning knocks for Delhi on numerous occasions in the Indian T20 League and he will be eager to inspire his team to victory here.

Ravindra Jadeja: The all-rounder has been a consistent performer for India and Chennai over recent years. When these two teams last met, he delivered a good performance with the ball. The talented all-rounder is a key player for Chennai and he will be the player to watch out for in the highly-anticipated Qualifier 1.

Faf du Plessis: The South African has had an excellent tournament so far as he has contributed to his team's cause with  quick-fire knocks. He is 2nd in the list of top run-scorers in the tournament with 546 runs at a strike rate of almost 138. He has smashed 53 fours and 20 sixes this season. It will be interesting to see whether he can maintain his high level of performance against compatriots Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje.
