Lucknow Super Giants have not had a very good start to life in IPL as they would have expected. They have had to face a fair share of criticism on social media in early days so far, primarily because of their name and logo. There is a common belief among fans that the franchise has not shown much creativity and uniqueness, which has resulted in them getting trolled.

On Tuesday, Lucknow Super Giants made their entry to ongoing Pushpa trend but things did not go down the way they would have expected. The franchise shared the image of their captain in fantastic Allu Arjun avatar with text, “KL Rahul Jhukega Nahi.”

And as expected, the netizens did not miss the opportunity to have some fun banter with the admin of franchise’s social media team. The fans united on internet to come up with some hilarious comments, trolling Lucknow Super Giants.

In response to the caption, one of the fans sarcastically pointed out that if KL Rahul doesn’t bend, then how will he be able to play sweep shots during the season?

And this is when a procession of trolls began under the post. The fans showed no mercy to the franchise as they flooded the comments section with some rib-tickling replies.

While one of the users claimed that KL won’t be able to do wicket-keeping without bending, the others funnily claimed that “Jhukega nahi to bouncer gend lagegi helmet pe.”

It was indeed not the response the franchise would have hoped for but this is how social media is! Lucknow Super Giants would be wishing for a successful mega auction in order to win back the support of their fans, to make their life easier heading into their debut season of IPL this year.

With big name like Andy Flower and Gautam Gambhir in support staff, the franchise will be quite optimistic to build a formidable squad for IPL 2022, adding some big names to support their draft picks of KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi.
