The day nine of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2025 saw two relatively one-sided contests in which Gujarat Giants and Bengaluru Bulls registered comfortable wins over Tamil Thalaivas and Patna Pirates, at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Visakhapatnam. In the match 18 of the tournament, Giants got the better of Thalaivas by a scoreline of 37-28, their first win of the season with Nitin Panwar collecting eight points, including three Super Tackles, while their star player Mohammadreza Shadloui hit form as well.
Earlier on day eight of the PKL 2025, the match 17 had Bengaluru Bulls defeat Patna Pirates 38-30, to register their first win of the season with their star all-round Alireza Mirzaian securing a Super 10, including nine touch points and one bonus point. On the other side, Patna Pirates now remain the only team yet to win a match in the PKL 2025 season, losing three on the spin.
Nothing has changed towards the top of the tournament points table with Puneri Paltan still leading from U Mumba on the basis of points as both teams have won three of their first four matches.
