After Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to part ways with Premier League club Manchester United, he has been linked to various clubs in Europe. Paris Saint-Germain have also showed interest in signing the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, which is reportedly troubling Lionel Messi.

According to reports, the 35-year-old Argentine has expressed his dismay with the signing of his arch-rival Cristiano Ronaldo. The former has even threatened to leave PSG if they sign the latter.

The two G.O.A.Ts have ruled the football world for over a decade due to their intense rivalry and the former Barcelona man apparently wants the same. If PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi signs the Portuguese, Lionel Messi will reportedly join his former side Barcelona.

The future of the 37-year-old striker remains uncertain as Manchester United are adamant over his stay at the Old Trafford. However, European giants like Chelsea, Barcelona, Bayern, and Napoli are heavily linked with the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo before the summer transfer window closes on September 1.

Earlier this week, PSG also sacked manager Mauricio Pochettino after 18 months as the Argentine failed to win the UCL even with the star trio of Messi-Mbappe-Neymar. Christophe Galtier is set to replace Pochettino at the Ligue 1 club.
