New franchise named Ahmedabad Titans- Reports
New Indian Premier League Franchise Ahmedabad have reportedly revealed their official name to be Ahmedabad Titans ahead of the mega auctions on February 12 and 13. The team will be led by Hardik Pandya and has picked Rashid Khan and Shubman Gill as their two other draft picks. The team is owned by the CVC Capitals. Official confirmation of the name is awaited.

Team Ahmedabad to announce official name by Monday
Team Ahmedabad will announce its official name by Monday. While it was expected that they will meet the January 31 deadline, they have been granted an exemption probably due to the delay in the legal clearance. The other new franchise Lucknow has already revealed its official name and logo.

While an official announcement is still awaited, all-rounder Hardik Pandya is set to lead the Ahmedabad franchise. The 28-year-old hasn't been in prime form lately and was even released by the Mumbai Indians but has managed to attract the think tank of the Ahmedabad team.

BIG UPDATE: Franchise close to finalising deal with Ishan Kishan
The Ahmedabad franchise is apparently close to finalising deal with Ishan Kishan. "The franchise has almost finalised its deal with Afghan spin sensation Rashid Khan and dashing keeper-batter Ishan Kishan as their second and third picks from the draft. As of now, that’s what is finalised unless there are changes at the last moment," a BCCI source was quoted in a PTI report.
