The highly-anticipated ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled to take place in the USA and the West Indies from June 1 to June 29. Ahead of the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup, the BCCI selection committee, headed by Ajit Agarkar, is slated to announce India's 15-member squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 on Monday, April 29.
India will commence their campaign on June 5 against Ireland at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, followed by the Men in Blue's high-octane clash against Pakistan on June 9 at the same venue.
"Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul are likely to get selected for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 squad as wicketkeepers. Shivam Dube is also likely to get picked in the squad," a BCCI selection committee source told ANI. Team India face a major dilemma in the wicketkeeping section, considering Sanju Samson's form in the IPL 2024, and the bowling lineup to support Jasprit Bumrah.
