Alzarri Joseph took 6 wickets while conceding 12 runs to register best-ever IPL figures in 2019
Playing his first-ever match in the IPL for Mumbai Indians, fast bowler Alzarri Joseph went on to register the best-ever figures by a bowler in IPL history. In a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on April 6, 2019, Joseph registered figures of 6/12 in 3.4 overs as MI defeated SRH by 40 runs.
Rohit Sharma smashed IPL hundred after 12 years in 2024
Mumbai Indians star batter Rohit Sharma took 12 years to register his second ton in the IPL history during the 17th edition of the tournament in 2024. Having scored his maiden IPL hundred in 2012, against Kolkata Knight Riders, Rohit went on to get his second ton in a match against Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede Stadium on April 14. The opening batter scored 105*(63) runs, hitting 11 fours and five sixes. However, his knock went in vain as MI lost the match by 20 runs.

Former South African captain Faf du Plessis is a great fielder, and he played a key role for his former franchise Chennai Super Kings in their title-winning season in IPL 2021 season with 12 catches.
