The 2023 ESPY Awards have concluded, marking ESPN's celebration of excellence in sports. A standout of the evening was Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who walked away with three accolades: best male athlete, best NFL player, and best team alongside his Chiefs teammates.

ESPN also placed a significant focus on humanitarian awards. The U.S. women's national soccer team received the prestigious Arthur Ashe Courage Award, while the Buffalo Bills' training staff was honoured with the Pat Tillman Award for Service presented by Damar Hamlin. 

Additionally, White Sox pitcher Liam Hendriks was recognized with the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance, commending his courageous comeback to the game after being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
