1. His consistency with the bat in T20Is
Virat Kohli has been the highest run-scorer in T20I history. He has been the only batter to score 4000-plus runs (4008) in T20I history at 50-plus average (52.73), including 37 fifties and a century to his name.
He finished as the highest run-scorer for India in 2012 T20 World Cup, 2014 T20 World Cup, 2016 T20 World Cup and 2022 T20 World Cup. He has won two Player of the Series award in T20 World Cups. He has scored 1141 runs from 25 innings in T20 World Cup history at an average of 81.5.
Virat Kohli has been the only person to score 7000-plus runs in IPL history. Even in the last IPL season, he finished as the fourth highest run-scorer (639) at a batting average of 53.25. He has scored two centuries in the last two T20 games (IPL) that he played for RCB in May 2023.
