The Indian version of Shark Tank was a massive hit in its very first season. The idea of sitting four successful business personalities to hear out pitches from young entrepreneurs worked well. Although the show did not run for long, it gave plenty of entertainment in a limited time. Apart from business ideas, fans found a plethora of memes.
Four of the judges, in particular, turned out to be favorites of the creators. Ashneer Grover, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, and Anupam Mittal were the four judges who caught attention with their unique style of reacting to pitches from contestants. Few of their dialogues also became internet sensations. Ashneer's "Ye sab doglapan hai" was among those famous slangs from Shark Tank.
While its fans eagerly wait for its second season, they can relive the first season through memes. These famous slangs from Shark Tank seem to fit in every life situation and with the Indian Premier League's 15th edition around the corner, SportsTiger has picked five dialogues that relate to IPL 2022.
1. Sorry RCB Fans!
Ever since the inception of the Indian T20 League, every team has laid hands on the coveted trophy except for three of them. Delhi Capitals (DC), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and Punjab Kings (PBKS). While Bangalore have managed to play two finals, Delhi and Punjab have managed to make it to the finals only once.
2. Thala supremacy!
There is only one team in the Indian Premier League that has played with one leader in the last 14 seasons. MS Dhoni has been the face of Chennai Super Kings ever since 2008 and there is a reason for that. CSK have won four titles under Dhoni and have also made it to the last-four stage in every season except 2020.
3. Mr. IPL to not play in the IPL anymore?
The biggest upset of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction was Suresh Raina going unsold. The man who has been reckoned as Mr. IPL and has been so consistently failed to attract any bidders. But what was even more shocking was CSK not showing a little interest in one of its best players. While Dhoni gets the tag of 'Thala', Raina was CSK's 'Chinna Thala'.
4. Home advantage
As BCCI announced the full-fledged schedule of IPL 2022, it was confirmed that all ten teams will play four of their fourteen league games at the Wankhede Stadium. While all nine teams play at venues not-so-homely for them, Mumbai is getting four games at its home ground. This may be on other teams' minds.
5. Where is all-rounder Hardik Pandya?
Gujarat Titans are one of the two new teams to have been added to the Indian Premier League. They have showed faith in Hardik Pandya to play the role of the leader. Pandya is undoubtedly a match-winner, his lack of contribution with the ball has raised a few eyebrows. Although head coach Ashish Nehra has said that the team management is more than happy to play Pandya purely as a batter, they will be hoping for him to give a couple of overs at least in every game.
