ACC announce full-fledged schedule for Women’s Asia Cup 2022; India to open campaign against Sri Lanka

The Asian Cricket Council on Tuesday (20 September) announced the full-fledged schedule for the Women’s Asia Cup 2022. A total of seven teams will take on each other in the round-robin format over a time period of ten days.

India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Thailand, UAE, Malaysia, and Bangladesh are the seven participating teams. Bangladesh are the hosts of Asia Cup 2022 which will be played in T20 format. 

Harmanpreet Kaur-led India will open their campaign against Sri Lanka on 1st October. A total of 21 matches will be played across two venues in the league stage. The two semifinals of the event will take place on 13 October while the final match will be played on 15 October. India and Pakistan will play each other on 7 October.
