But their bowlers showed some promise as their spinners like Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Rashid Khan and Mohammed Nabi were economical and picked up wickets against a formidable English batting lineup.
Whereas, Sri Lanka was defeated by a dominant New Zealand team at the Sydney Cricket Ground led by Glenn Phillips’ century.
