With ICC 50-over World Cup just around the corner, Afghanistan will be among the more exciting teams in the tournament. The Afghans have grown as a team which often plays fearless cricket which has helped them grow into a top-eight team in the world. With conditions suiting their players, Afghanistan could emerge as a formidable opponent and even pull off some big upsets.
Talking about the Afghanistan team’s recent performances, they managed to defeat Pakistan in a T20 series and put on some decent performances against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in 2023 so far.
