Rajasthan Royals (RR) continued their winning run in the IPL 2024 after they beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday, April 6. While Virat Kohli score d the first century of IPL 2024, RR batter Jos Buttler also returned to form with his well-made century at home.
The England wicketkeeper-batter got to his maiden ton of IPL 2024 on the final ball of the match as the home team and the fans celebrated the moment. Following RR’s six-wicket win, Buttler recreated a scene from the famous Bollywood movie ‘Nayak’. In the video shared by RR with the caption reading, “Ek din ka CM Har din ka Boss” has been doing rounds on social media since then.
The viral video even got attention from the lead actor and Bollywood star Anil Kapoor, who starred in the movie ‘Nayak’. “Jos Buttler recreating the iconic Nayak scene!! This is 🔥” Kapoor wrote on X.
The RR opener Jos Buttler returned to for after he was dismissed for the score of 11, 11 and 13 in the first three matches in IPL 2024. With his 100* off 58 balls, Buttler overtook Rohit Sharma to become the eighth highest run-getter in T20 cricket.
