APL 2025 releases official anthem ahead of upcoming season

The fourth edition of the Andhra Premier League (APL) is scheduled to be played from August 8 to 23. All the 25 matches of the tournament will be played at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. Ahead of the much-awaited season, the APL released its official anthem on Thursday, August 7. The song is titled as ‘Dhummu Lepu Dhana Dhana’ which is sung by Sricharan Pakala.

The APL 2025 will be the fourth edition of the tournament which will be organised by the Andhra Cricket Association. Ahead of the season, the new Anthem song ‘Dhummu Lepu Dhana Dhana’ is there to ignite the excitement among fans.The song is available on APL’s official YouTube channel.

Kakinada Kings will take on Amaravati Royals in 1st match of IPL 2025

The first match of Andhra Premier League (APL) 2025 will be played between Kakinada Kings and Amaravati Royals. The match will be played at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vizag on August 8. Kakinada Kings will be captained by KS Bharat while Hanuma Vihari will lead Amaravati Royals.

The tournament will be played in the round-robin format where all seven teams will play one game each against each other. After the league stage, the tournament will advance to the playoffs stages which include Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the Final.
