Arsenal Women's team have sold out Emirates first time for a WSL match while playing against Manchester United on 17th February and created history. The news comes after consistently high attendances at the Emirates in the WSL this season, with the sell-out overtaking the league’s attendance record previously set by Arsenal earlier this season against Chelsea on December 10.
Over 60,000 tickets and all hospitality packages for this Saturday's clash against Manchester United have now been sold. This is the second time Emirates Stadium has sold out for a women’s match, following our UEFA Women's Champions League semi-final against VfL Wolfsburg in May 2023.
Arsenal's Chief Executive said, “We are grateful for the incredible support we’ve had all season. Our supporters’ unwavering commitment and following, coupled with the performance of our team and the hard work of everyone behind the scenes at our club, has made this moment possible." He also said that the next step is to deliver this consistently, not just at Emirates Stadium but across the league over all the venues.
Arsenal holds the top 5 spots for the highest WSL attendance:
