Initially, India winning the toss, invited Nepal to bat first. The Rohit Paudel-led side posted a total of 230 runs with the help of brilliant 65-run opening partnership between Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh, while Sompal Kami in the end overs scored 48 runs with the bat.
