India defeated Nepal convincingly by a margin of 10 wickets (DLS) and confirmed their spot in Super 4s of Asia Cup 2023 with the help of brilliant bowling from Ravindra Jadeja in the first innings and an unbeaten 147-run opening partnership between Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill.
Initially, India winning the toss, invited Nepal to bat first. The Rohit Paudel-led side posted a total of 230 runs with the help of brilliant 65-run opening partnership between Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh, while Sompal Kami in the end overs scored 48 runs with the bat.
