India had an incredible performance in Men's and Women's 1500m with three medals across the two finals. In the women's final, Harmilan Bains won the silver medal with a time of 4:12.74 minutes. Whereas in the men's final, Ajay Kumar Saroj won the silver with a time of 3:38.94 min utes while Jinson Johnson took home the bronze with a time of 3:39.74 minutes.

Further talking about the men's event, Mohamad Algarni from Qatar took the gold medal with a time of 3:38.36. Whereas in the women's final, Baharain's Winfred Mutile Yavi took the gold and Marta Hirpato Yota took the gold and bronze.
