Indian shooter Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar continued his dominating run at the Asian Games 2023 as he clinched the silver in men’s 50m rifle 3 positions event at the Asian Games 2023. The 20-year-old claimed the fourth medal of the day as he missed the gold metal by a whisker, earlier on Friday, 29 September.

Aishwary, who is having a dream run, finished next after China’s Du Linshu, who also set the Asian Games record with a score of 460.0. The Indian shooter claimed the silver with a score of 459.7 while Tian Jiaming won the bronze with 448.3 score.

The 20-year-old has so far claimed an individual bronze in 10m air rifle and a silver in 50m rifle 3 Position event. He was also a part of the team clinching historic gold in both 10m air rifle and 50m rifle 3 positions.

Talking more about the Indian shooting team at the ongoing Asian Games, the side has registered their best-ever performance at the Games, clinching 18 medals, which include six gold, even silver and five bronze. Earlier in the day, India’s 17-year-old Palak clinched a gold in the 10m air pistol.
