Indian tennis stars Ramkumar Ramanathan and Saketh Myeni sailed through the semifinal of the men's doubles event on September 27, Wednesday. With this, the Indians ensured at least a bronze medal for the country in the men's doubles event of the continental multi-sport spectacle. Ramanathan and Myeni defeated the Chinese pair of Zhizhen Zhang and Wu Yibing 6-1, 7-6 to make it to the semis of the tournament.

In the semifinal, the Indian pair will lock horns with the South Korean duo of Seongchan Hong and Soonwoo Kwon to secure their berth in the top two of the event.
