The IPL 2023 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians on April 18 was quite a close contest. It had the hosts needing 20 runs off the last six balls to achieve victory. Arjun Tendulkar was handed the ball by Rohit Sharma to finish off the game.

The young 23-year old pacer was exceptional in the last over with his wide yorkers and sealed the game for MI by 14 runs. Not only that, Arjun picked up the first IPL wicket of his career by dismissing Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Earlier today, Mumbai Indians official Twitter account posted a video in which Arjun's father, the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar can be seen congratulating his son in the MI dressing room. He  was seemingly very proud of his young boy for sealing a tense game for the Mumbai Indians.

Sachin Tendulkar  also gave the ‘dressing room player of the match award' to Arjun Tendulkar.  Moments after Sachin pins the badge on young Arjun, he proceeds to say, “At least there is a wicket in our family now.” The comment from him evoked a loud reaction from everyone in the MI dressing room.

Former Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar has taken 201 wickets in international cricket, but does not have a single wicket in his tally in the IPL. He played 78 games in his career for Mumbai Indians and scored 2334 runs at an average of 33.84.
