England tried their best to draw the match on the final day of the game as Buttler played a gritty knock of a 207-ball 26 but England couldn't manage to draw the game. Marnus Labuschagne won Man of the Match award for his brilliant knocks of 103 & 51 in the Adelaide Test match. England's batting order failed once again as they were heavily dependent on Joe Root and Dawid Malan, with the rest of the batsmen failing without a big contribution.
