The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 mini-auction is set to take place on December 19 at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. Ahead of the auction, the players' shortlist to go under the hammer has been revealed while international players from countries like Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa among others are available for the entire 2024 season.
Meanwhile, Australia star pacer Josh Hazlewood, who was released by the Royal Challengers Bangalore and has been included in Set-4 of the IPL auction at a base price of INR 2 Crore, is set to miss the first half of the IPL 2024 as he is expecting the birth of his child in March.
Even after the IPL franchises fail to build their teams following the IPL 2024 auction, the trade window will open again on the next day and will close in February 2024, a month ahead of the league's inception. While the teams have already released the list of their retained and released players ahead of the auction, they can do so on December 20 as the trade window opens.
