Indian Premier League has not just created a most lucrative umbrella under which players from all around the world showcase their cricketing skills but also helped global icons in the sport to get a glimpse of India tradition. While spending quality time in India during IPL time, few players have built great repo with Indian fans and have expressed admiring Indian festivals and culture. 

Dynamic Australian opener, David Warner, who has played for more than couple of IPL franchises has often expressed his admiration for the India and keeps on treating his Indian fans with his Insta reel on popular Bollywood or Tollywood songs. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Warner has extended his wish to his fans on social media.

The southpaw posted an image of lord Ganesha along with his picture with  folded-hands and wished Indian fans on the auspicious day.  "To all my friends out there, HAPPY Ganesh Chaturthi. Wishing you lots of joy an happiness!" Warner captioned the post. Notably, 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival has started in India on Wednesday (August 31) and will be celebrated across several cities in the country.

On the work front, Warner is part of the Australian squad which clinched three-match ODI series 2-0, by beating the visitors in the second one-day international on Tuesday. Earlier in the series opener, Warner scored 57 off 66 deliveries to help his side to win the match comfortably. 

After Cameron Green's five-wicket haul restricted Zimbabwe at 200/10 in 47.3 overs, Australian batters, David Warner (57 off 66), Steven Smith (48 off 80) and blitz cameo from Marcus Stoinis (19 off 14) helped the hosts to kick-start the bilateral series on a positive note. 

Meanwhile, Australian bowlers rattled the Zimbabwe batting line up in the 2nd ODI as visitors bundled out at 96/10 in 27.5 overs. Steven Smith's 47 and 26 from wicket-keeper batter Alex Carry guided the hosts to victory. The third and final match of the series is slated to take place on September 3 (Saturday) at Tony Ireland Stadium, in Townsville.
