The Formula 1 2023 season is all set to kick start with the opener in Bahrain. The race will take place across three days from 3-5 March 2023. The first two days will see the practice and the qualifying with the final race scheduled for an 8:30 pm IST start on March 5, 2023.

The season opener  Bahrain Grand Prix will take place from 3-5 March 2023 across  the 5.412 km long Shakir  Circuit . The track hosted its first-ever Grand Prix in 2004.

March 3:
Practice 1 - 5:00 - 6:00 PM IST
Practice 2 - 8:30 - 9:30 PM IST

March 4:
Practice 3 - 5:00 - 6:00 PM IST
Qualifying - 8:30 - 9:30 PM IST

March 5:
Race - 8:30 PM IST

 

What is the track like  at the Shakir Circuit ?

The Bahrain Grand Prix will offer a total of 57 laps with 15 corners. The 5.412 km-long circuit covers the race distance of 308.238 km, making it one of the longest races in the F1 calendar.
