Arjun Tendulkar delivered an explosive all-round performance in the T20 Mumbai League while playing for ARCS Andheri against the Bandra Blasters. He smashed an unbeaten 66 runs off just 34 balls and took 3 wickets for 11 runs in his 3-over spell. This splendid performance fetched him the Player of the Match award in Wankhede Stadium.

After the match, when asked by a reporter whether he considers himself an all-rounder in limited overs, Arjun firmly said, โ€œ I do consider myself an all-rounderโ€

The reporter also sneaked a question about his bowling in the first few overs, to which Arjun replied, โ€œ I look to bowl in the right areas and to restrict the batters from scoring more runs is my mainโ€

Arjun Tendulkar is known for his patience and massive work ethic, yet remains grounded even with the surname. With the Tendulkar surname comes a lot of pressure for performance, and he is judged by cynics for not even meeting high expectations. Arjun waited on the bench for the Mumbai Indians to get his fair chance, when ultimately, he was traded to the Lucknow Supergiants after his domestic brilliance. He got to play a single match in IPL 2026 and was impressive economically as he dismissed dangerous Prabhsimran Singh of PBKS and only gave 36 runs in a 4-over spell in a high-scoring match.

Arjun Tendulkar shines as ARCS Andheri wins against Bandra Blasters

ARCS Andheri is positioned in the second spot of the Mumbai T20 League points table with 3 wins in their bag after their win against Bandra Blasters on Monday.

Bandra Blasters won the toss and opted to bat first. Arjun Tendulkar opened the bowling spell and, in the very first over, dismantled Prateek Kumar Yadav and Parag Khanapurkar. In the very next over, Shivam Dube struck Suved Parker, leaving Bandra with 9/3 on board and in grave danger. Only Om Keshkamatโ€™s 49 off 36 balls, and Sagarr Chhabariaโ€™s unbeaten 44 off 23 balls helped Blasters post a respectable total of 144 on board. Coming down to chase, Arjun Tendulkar came down to bat after the dismissal of Divyaansh Saxena, with the approach and intent of getting going from ball one. Arjun Tendulkar and Musheer Khanโ€™s partnership of 116 runs in just 68 balls made the chase look like a cakewalk as Andheri won by 9 wickets.

ARCS Andheri will next lock horns with MSC Maratha Royals on Wednesday, 10th June 2026, eyeing to carry forward their winning momentum.
