Bangladesh took on Afghanistan in the third match of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 at the HPCA Stadium, Himachal Pradesh on October 7, Saturday. While Afghanistan were losing wickets quickly, Mujeeb Ur Rahaman came into bat with the hope of getting the team on a stable side. However, it seems that the batter was in a hurry as he entered the field without his box.

Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan won the toss and invited the rivals to bat first, and displaying exemplary skills with the bowl, the Bengal Tigers bundled out Afghanistan at 156. In a high-intense match for the Afghanistan, Rahman's incident provided a moment of comic relief and brought smiles to the faces of spectators and teammates.
Despote the light-hearted moment, Rahman's stay on the field didn't last long. The 22-year-old was sent back to the pavilion after he scored a single as he was clean bowled off Mehidy Hasasn's delivery in 36.3 overs. The highest run getter for their side was Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who scored 47 off 62 deliveries with a combination of four deliveries and one maximum.
