The Men in Blue are already on the front at lunch break after restricting the hosts under 100 in the first session of the second Test. The two sides are locking horns at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka after India took a dominating win in the first Test and won the game by 188 runs.

After Bangladesh won the toss, they opted to bat first and have posted 82/2 in the first session. While Jaydev Unadkat drew the first blood in Zakir Hasan, R Ashwin took the second for the Men in Blue. What blew everyone was Unadkat’s return in Test cricket after a gap of twelve years. The 31-year-old is only the second cricketer to make an appearance in Test cricket for India after Lala Amarnath (12 years, 129 days).

The 31-year-old clinched his maiden Test wicket in Zakir Hasan during the first session of the second Test. In the fifteenth over of the match, Unadkat bowled a short of a length ball with the extra bounce which the batter played for a horizontal stroke, thus resulting in a catch at fourth slip.
