Bangladesh will take on their Asian rivals Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI series, which will take place from March 13 to 18. All the matches will be played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. The two sides are coming on the back of a three-match T20I series which the visitors won by 2-1 margin.
The island nation have visited Bangladesh on three occasions for an ODI series and came out on top in two of those. However, in the last series that was played in Bangladesh, the home side won the series by 2-1. In the recently concluded ICC ODI Cricket World Cup as well, Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka by three wickets.
