Famous choreographer Dhanashree Verma finally broke her silence on divorce rumours with spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. Notably, the reports of the famous couple separating and heading for divorce have been making rounds on social media. Rumours started when Chahal and Verma unfollowed each other on social media and the cricketer removed all their pictures. Not only this, but in 2022, Dhanashree dropped the surname ‘Chahal’ from her Instagram handle, sparking speculation about troubles in paradise.
Around that time, Chahal had shared a cryptic photo on Instagram Story, which was an image featuring a quote that read, “New Life Loading.” Although the couple hasn’t addressed the rumours publicly, their social media activity left fans wondering if things are not right between them. Following this, Dhanashree’s picture with Choreographer Pratik Utekar went viral, in which the two were seen getting cosy. This didn’t sit well with the cricketer’s fans and they took to social media to slam Dhanashree.

Dhanashree, after not speaking anything since rumours started circulating, finally broke her silence and slammed fans for assassinating her character. She took to Instagram to say that all these things are upsetting. Verma wrote, "The past few days have been incredibly tough for my family and me. What's truly upsetting is the baseless writing, devoid of fact- checking, and the character assassination of my reputation by faceless trolls spreading hate. I've worked hard for years to build my name and integrity. My silence is not a sign of weakness; but of strength. While negativity spreads easily online, it takes courage and compassion to uplift others."
She also added, “I choose to focus on my truth and move forward, holding onto my values. The truth stands tall without the need for justification.” On the other hand, Prateek also decided to shut trolls by saying, “World is too free to make stories and comment and DM with just one pic of what they see…Grow up guys.”
