Royal Challengers Bengaluru wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma trolled skipper Rajat Patidar for his poor outing with the bat in IPL 2025 fixture against Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, April 27. RCB registered a six-wicket win over DC with the help of half-centuries for Krunal Pandya and Virat Kohli. However, Patidar couldn’t contribute much with the bat as he got run out after scoring just six runs.
In a video shared by RCB on their social media, head coach Andy Flower could be seen praising the team for their performance against DC. He lauded the bowlers for their performance at Arun Jaitley Stadium and said that this was their best bowling performance of the season so far. After that, Flower invited Jitesh Sharma to talk about RCB’s batting against DC.

Speaking about the batting, wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharam first appreciated debutant Jacob Bethall for his start that set the momentum and hailed Tim David for his great finish with 19*(5) runs. Coming to Rajat Patidar, Jitesh said, “nothing” leaving the rest of the dressing room in laughter.
“Nothing bol raha hai (He said nothing)," Rajat Patidar said to Jitesh Sharma, to which Jitesh replied, “Batting mein kya ukhada isne? (What did he do with the bat?)." After that, Patidar concluded the conversation by saying, “Chal theek, hai match jeet gaye na! (It’s fine, we won the game)."
RCB are now standing at the top of the points table after a six-wicket win over DC in Delhi on Sunday. They have won seven and lost three matches this season so far and are among the strongest contenders to qualify for the playoffs.
