The first ODI between India and Bangladesh has gone down to the wire. The Men in Blue set a target of only 186 runs but then in the second innings, they managed to reduce the hosts to nine wickets. But in the 42nd over, something strange happened as the ball was hit towards the third-man region.
All-rounder Washington Sundar was fielding at the spot but the Tamil Nadu star didn't go for the catch. The ball fell a few yards short and hence Indian captain Rohit Sharma was extremely angry with Sundar's efforts. Sharma was also blurting out some harsh words toward the all-rounder. In a video that has gone viral, the captain was seen saying, "B****C***.

The catch turned out to be extremely expensive for India as they went on to lose the game by just one wicket in the 46th over. Mehidy Hasan Miraz was the difference maker he hit 38 runs in 39 balls to secure the win for the host nation.
After the game, Bangladeshi captain Litton Das was extremely happy with his team's performance. He praised Hasan for his incredible performance and revealed how nervous he was during the dying moments of the game.
He said, "Very happy. I was very nervous sitting in the dressing room. I enjoyed Mehidy's batting in the last 6-7 overs. Siraj and Shardul bowled very well in the middle overs and shifted the momentum towards their side. When me and Shakib were batting we thought we could chase this easily, but it got difficult after we both got out and India bowled really well. Outstanding innings from Mehidy."
