The second ODI between India and West Indies is underway at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Although the game is being played behind closed doors, India has a special audience to cheer for them. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) invited the U19 World Cup-winning squad to the stadium to cheer for their senior pros.

Yash Dhull and Co. were seen at the venue along with VVS Laxman during the second match. The BCCI also shared a picture of the squad watching the game live from the stadium. "Our #U19CWC-winning team in attendance here in Ahmedabad," wrote BCCI in caption of the post.

The Senior Men's team may not have won an ICC title in the last 8 years, but the U19 boys have delivered for their team every now and then. The Boys in Blue continued their dominance in the U19 World Cup and won their fifth title under the leadership of Yash Dhull. The Delhi lad became the third captain from Delhi (after Virat Kohli and Unmukt Chand) to win a U19 World Cup for India.

India defeated England in the final by four wickets to lift the trophy for the fifth time. The Yash Dhull-led team had come into the tournament high on confidence as they had won the Asia Cup for the record eighth time. However, they also had to deal with a blow when several players tested positive for the COVID-19. Despite that the Boys in Blue remained undefeated throughout the tournament.

Now, coming to the ongoing game between India and West Indies, India are on the verge of another victory in the 2nd ODI. West Indies are currently struggling at 175/8 in pursuit of India's 237/9. Earlier, Indian team management's decision to open with Rishabh Pant failed big time as the southpaw could only manage 18 runs off 34 balls. India also lost Kohli cheaply who was looking in good touch.
