The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are looking to conduct suspended Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 from May 16th to 30th. With the border conflict between India and Pakistan, the BCCI came with the decision to suspend IPL 2025 for a week. However, with the ceasefire announcement between the two neighbours on May 10, cricket buffs are now eagerly waiting for the return of the T20 tournament. In a recent development, an eminent India daily The Indian Express has claimed that the schedule of the remainder of the competition will be sent by May 11 night.
As per The Indian Express, a BCCI source revealed, “As the IPL was suspended for a week, there is a possibility of the IPL final now being played on May 30 instead of May 25 with limited venues. The schedule will be sent to all IPL teams by tonight.” Earlier, there were also reports that BCCI has informed franchises to assemble their players by May 13, prior to the resumption of the tournament. Reportedly, BCCI has marked three venues Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai to conduct the remaining IPL 2025 games.
