For the international games played in the nation between 2019 and 2023 during the previous cycle, Paytm and MasterCard paid Rs 3.8 crore for each match. Due to a lack of interest in high-priced cricket properties and a lackluster reaction from new-age companies, the BCCI has reduced the base price of the title sponsor rights for the second time. Due to the financial recession, these modern companies are limiting their spending.

The cricket body also increased the base payment for digital rights to the matches over that for TV in addition to decreasing the title sponsor price for each match by 1.4 crores.
