Krafton India revealed the BGMI Esports roadmap for the first half of 2025, featuring the highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025 and Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025, the Rising Star program, and Esports College Campus Tour. One of the highlights of the roadmap is BGIS 2025, which will be the first tournament of the year from Krafton with a whopping INR 2 Crore prize pool. Grand Finals Schedule - April 2025
This year will start with BGIS 2025, which is set to be an open-for-all tournament where all players can register and compete with the best teams in India. The registrations for the BGIS 2025 are set to be open from 3rd January 2025. The tournament will feature an INR 2 Crore prize pool, the same as the previous edition, and the Grand Finals will take place in the City of Joy - Kolkata - in April.
However, the full schedule of the tournament is yet to be revealed, but players can expect the tournament to kick off in the last week of January 2025 with in-game qualifiers. Players who are willing to participate keep ready with their squad of four players.
About BGIS 2024
The Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGIS) 2024, held at the Hitex Exhibition Center, Hyderabad, was won by Team XSpark. The tournament featured some exciting matches with the top team from India competing for the prize pool of INR 2 Crore.
Team XSpark emerged as the winner, and Global Esports became the runner-up. The young lineup of Reckoning Esports clinched the third spot. NinjaBoi of Global Esports is named the MVP of the BGIS 2024.
