After four days of the Test match, India are yet to complete their first innings in the ongoing third Test at Gabba, Brisbane of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The Test match has been disturbed due to bad weather with most of the sessions getting washed due to rain and wet outfield. However, despite regular rain disturbance, Australia have an upper hand in the ongoing Test match against India in Brisbane.

The hosts posted 445 on board in the first innings, with Steve Smith and Travis Head shining with respective centuries, along with Alex Carey’s 70-run knock. In reply, KL Rahul top scored with 84 runs along with Ravindra Jadeja’s 77-run knock as India were 252/9 by the end of day four trailing by 193 runs against Australia. However, the main sigh of relief for India is that they have avoided follow-on in the first innings.
