Krafton India reveals the BGMI Esports roadmap for the first half of 2025 on December 20, featuring two flagship tournaments, Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025 and Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025, the Rising Star program, and Esports College Campus Tour. BGIS 2025 will be the first tournament of the year, and then the much-awaited pro series featuring top teams of India, BMPS 2025, will take place. Check out the BMPS 2025 details below. 

BMPS 2025 Will Feature an INR 2 Crore Prize Pool 

Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro League (BMPS) 2025 will take place after the BGIS 2025, which will conclude in April. However, the exact date of the Pro League is yet to be revealed. The tournament will feature an INR 2 crore prize pool where all top-tier teams of India will compete in an invite-only format. 

However, more details of the tournaments will be revealed in upcoming months, most probably during the BGIS 2025. BMPS 2025 will be the fourth edition of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series organized by Krafton. The recent winners of the tournament are Team XSpark, Blind Esports, and Team Soul. 

About BMPS 2024

Held in Kochi, Kerala, Shadow-led Team XSpark clinched the BMPS 2024 title, with Numen Esports becoming the runners-up. Fan favorite team Godlike Esports took third place, showcasing amazing gameplay. 

Team XSpark’s Spraygod won the MVP of the tournament while his teammate Sarang was named the Finals MVP. Punk won the “Best IGL” award for leading Godlike Esports to the third position.

The 2025 will start with BGIS, which is set to be an open-for-all tournament where all players can register and compete with the best teams in India. The registrations for the BGIS 2025 are set to be open from 3rd January 2025. The tournament will feature an INR 2 crore prize pool, the same as the previous edition, and the Grand Finals will take place in the City of Joy—Kolkata—in April.
