Delhi Capitals newly-appointed captain Rishabh Pant is undoubtedly one of the most fun characters on the field of cricket. Very much like his idol MS Dhoni, the 23-year-old also keeps producing some hilarious comments while standing behind the stumps. The fans are often expecting something or the other whenever Pant is in action and the DC skipper certainly did not disappoint them on Tuesday.

Captain's hilarious message to Lalit Yadav

With Mumbai Indians off to a steady start in Chennai, Rishabh Pant introduced youngster Lalit Yadav into the attack. The off-spinner started off with a delivery towards Rohit's pads and followed it up with a short-ball. As the DC skipper realised that Yadav was not fully warmed up, he passed a hilarious comment towards the off-spinner as he said, "Body vody khol le apni."

The youngster responds in style

Lalit Yadav certainly followed the skipper's advice, opened up his shoulders and was on the mark right from the next delivery. After conceding only three runs in that over, the 24-year-old came back in the 11th over to take a crucial wicket of Krunal Pandya, putting MI in a state of bother. Notably, it was Yadav's first wicket of IPL career. The off-spinner would give some credit to his skipper who motivated him in his own style from behind the stumps.
