According to the latest reports, England speedster Jofra Archer may pull out from IPL 2021. As per the information, the pacer will make the move to prepare himself for England's Test series against New Zealand and the Ashes. The news comes ahead of the final T20I of the series between India and England on Saturday. The news comes as a shock for Rajasthan Royals fans as they were expecting another masterclass from him following a successful IPL 2020. The 25-year-old was Player of the Tournament in last edition, and single-handedly won games for Royals on several occasions.

Reportedly, Archer will get third injection in his right elbow and then rest to speed up the recovery process. Notably, the Englishman was a prime player for Rajasthan based franchise with bat as well as the ball. With the ball, the seamer managed to scalp 20 wickets in 14 matches at a modest 6.55 Economy Rate. Archer also helped out Royals with willow as he hit 113 runs in 14 games. Of 113, he scored 80 from boundaries (10 sixes and 5 fours). Overall, he turned out to be the ace player for franchise and will be a huge missing for Samson-led team if reports are true.
