Doug Martin, most famously known as “FaZe Censor” in the gaming world, has been a huge success story in the Call of Duty game in recent years. He has also been a champion on four separate occasions throughout his illustrious career, while putting up a grand performance at the Call of Duty World League Championship in 2018.

Recently, the American professional gamer has reportedly left the sport, to focus on other endeavours in life and take better care of himself personally. Sometime ago, he was announced as the ambassador of Cybersmile, an organisation that raises awareness to create a truly inclusive gaming environment for everybody.

On June 4, Doug Martin took to his official Twitter account, to make an emotional post about his mother and the issues she is going through currently. He also laid out his plan to break the Guinness World Record for most pull-ups in 24 hours to raise money for her mother through charity, while showcasing people that you should never give up.

His tweet read, “With my Call of Duty season being over, I am now going to focus on breaking the Guinness world record for pull-ups in 24 hours in efforts to raise money for charity for whatever issues my mother is going through currently. It’s really frightening and frustrating dealing with family issues, but the goal is to raise awareness and show people to never give up. I will be doing pull ups on the minute every minute for hours on stream in preparation for this attempt. Wish me luck”

According to reports, the charity that FaZe Censor might support as part of his plan of breaking the Guinness World Record is unknown, but it can end up being Cybersmile in all likelihood.
