During the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 game between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, a bizarre incident happened. On social media platforms, Falguni Pathak’s eminent song ‘Bole Jo Koyal’ was remade in a male voice and it got associated with Dhoni through a meme. The meme is often used by his critics to troll Dhoni. However, in 2024, Dhoni shot an advertisement in which he was seen singing the track.

During the match between CSK and RR, the DJ played the song and the cameraman took no time to focus on the 43-year-old, who was batting at the crease with Shivam Dube. Talking about the veteran’s batting performance against the Men in Pink, he could score only 16 off 17. The star player fell against Akash Madhwal in the final over of the innings.

CSK highly likely to be the worst-performing team of IPL 2025

Chennai failed to defend their total of 187 against RR and registered a six-wicket loss. The Yellow Army have lost their 10th game in the T20 extravaganza and with this defeat, they are all set to end their campaign at the bottom of the points tally. It will be the first instance when CSK will be concluding their journey in an IPL season as the worst-performing side.

Chennai’s final game of the season will be against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium on May 25. Talking about MS Dhoni’s batting performance this season, he has scored 196 runs in 13 matches at a strike rate of 135.17. The legend will look to lead CSK from the front in the last game to help the Men In Yellow end the campaign positively.
