Lucknow Super Giants registered a thrilling two-run win over Rajasthan Royals in match number 36 of IPL 2025 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Chasing a target of 181 runs, RR were looking to get an easy win as long as Yashasvi Jaiswal (74 off 52) was at the crease along with stand-in skipper Riyan Parag (39 off 26). However, the things took a dramatic turn after Avesh Khan dismissed both the set batters in the 18th overs.
After that, Avesh Khan successfully defended nine runs in the last over dismissing Shimron Hetmyer as LSG snatches the victory away from RR. This was the second game RR lost despite looking in comfortable to win at one point after a super over against Delhi Capitals in the last game.
