Real Madrid and Barcelona are set to face each other in the final of the Supercopa de España (Spanish Super Cup) in Jeddah on January 13. Ahead of the big final, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti and Barcelona coach Hansi Flick posed together near the trophy with their jersey. However, both the coaches also decided to stay silent on the recent controversy including Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo.

Notably, Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD) have recently granted Barcelona a provisional measure to allowing the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor detouring the opportunity for La Liga and Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF) to present obligations. After that, both the Barcelona players were given permission to participate in the Spanish League final despite the rules by the league that a player cannot be registered twice with the same club in a same season.

We are in good shape and enthusiastic: Carlo Ancelotti ahead of Spanish Super Cup final

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti also gave a diplomatic reply when was asked about plans to stop Dani Olmo from scoring a goal on Sunday’s final. "It would mean that we have not been able to stop a player that everyone knew," the Italian was quoted as saying by Latestly. Speaking further, Ancelotti also updated that Jude Bellingham has also recovered well ahead of the final clash.

"All the players are available, we are in good shape and enthusiastic,” Ancelotti said. "We have to think about what happened in the first game because they beat us, we have looked at what happened in that game," he further added.

When asked about availability of Dani Olmo for the final, Barcelona coach Hansi Flick said that the summer signing will begin after the final and Spanish footballer Gavi is also available in the lineup.
