West Indies are all set to kick off their 2025 season by playing against Australia for the Frank Worrell Trophy from June 25 to July 16 as their governing body has released the detailed schedule for the 2025-27 season. The Caribbean side will lock horns with the Pat Cummins-led Australia for three Tests. The home series will mark the West Indies team’s start in the World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle. Darren Sammy, who has taken charge from Test coach Andre Coley, will also pass through a litmus test as he will be expected to deliver a valuable contribution to the team as a coach.
Following the Australia assignment, West Indies will host Pakistan for white-ball series from July 31 to August 12. The Men in Green will tour the island nations for three ODIs and three T20Is. After their home season, West Indies will tour India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand from September 21 to December 23.
West Indies have witnessed a severe slump in recent years. They failed to qualify for the T20 World Cup 2022 and ODI World Cup 2023. Noting the downfall, the side will look to begin their preparations for the ODI World Cup 2027 early. The two-time world champions will be visiting Ireland and England in 2027, for three ODIs and three T20Is respectively.
Cricket West Indies also released schedule for the women’s team

If the West Indies succeeds in pulling off the competition, they will be among the sides who will participate in the massive WODI event in India to take place in August-September.
Following the World Cup qualifiers, they will be seen in England for three T20Is and as many ODIs to be played from May 21 to June 8. Their next assignment will be at home where they will clash with South Africa women in three ODIs and three T20Is.
